We’ll meet at the Crystal Hotel in downtown Antananarivo in the morning and depart at 9:30 am! we drove for about 5 hours to the Eastern Rainforest – Andasibe National Park, to embark on our adventure.
First stop on the adventure: Explore the Butterfly Valley, the same place featured on the TV show “Divas Hit the Road,” and encounter chameleons. Search for the “invisible” chameleons in the Butterfly Valley Nature Reserve and enjoy their adorable strolls.
The second stop on our exploration: a nighttime search for nocturnal lemurs and chameleons in the Andasibe Rainforest as darkness falls.

After breakfast, we will drive to Lemur Island and Crocodile Valley for a visit.
Take a quick canoe ride to the island from the reserve (fee included). Clear your phone’s memory beforehand, set up your camera lens, and follow the park guide to look for various lemurs. Best of all, the lemurs here are used to human friendliness and might even playfully jump on you for a photo opportunity!
After the visit, we will hike through the Andasibe rainforest to track the Indri Indir (BABAKOTO) lemur.

After breakfast, we will travel back to the capital, Antananarivo (approximately a 5-hour drive).
Upon arrival in the capital, visit the iconic Queen’s Palace.
Starting from the Queen’s Palace at the top of the hill, stroll downhill, passing the former Prime Minister’s Palace, the Basilica of Our Lady of Andojaro, the Merina Ancient City Gate, and the Madagascar Uprising Memorial. Afterwards, drive along Independence Avenue and Lake Arnossi, and sample the local popular ice cream.
After the tour, return to the meeting point – where the tour concludes.
